The Motion Graphics Designer will participate in the entire creative processes from client meetings, conceptualization and storyboarding to creating, altering and compositing media assets for a wide-range of digital projects. Projects range in size and scope requiring independent execution at times as well as multidisciplinary collaboration with teams. The Motion Graphics Designer will be a key member of LaunchSquad’s creative team and will work directly with the Creative Director to establish and maintain quality control in all content produced. Versatile technical skills, a refined design sensibility and style, and demonstrable experience developing and producing visual stories are a must to be considered for this role.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Film or a related field is preferred
Design portfolio demonstrating high caliber professional work and style
Advanced experience using After Effects including pre-comping & parenting, Creative Suite; and Final Cut Studio
Strong understanding of animation development processes including motion capture and key-framing, frame-by-frame adjustments and Bezier curve usage
Proven storytelling skills: can map plot, structure varying arcs and write/edit scripts/storyboards
Experience working collaboratively with clients and multidisciplinary teams under tight deadlines
Detail oriented and organized with proven ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities
A positive, can-do attitude

Design / UX / Product Leader

ZenCash is a web app that helps people who send out invoices get paid. It hooks into the user’s invoicing application and is able to tell when invoices are in particular “states”. Then, based on those states, it can send out various communications that the ZenCash user is able to customize. It can mail a physical invoice, send a payment reminder, send a thank you note when the invoice is paid, and even trigger a collections process when the invoice is way overdue. Pretty cool, huh?

Here is what we need….

Navigator of Forest & Trees. Someone who can steer a web application at the highest level and obsess at the pixel level.
Passion for form + function. Someone who cares as much about how it works as how it looks. Maybe more.
User advocate. They depend on you to make this product work for them, and speak for their wants & needs. Be strong.
Writer. Copy is part of the UI, and you’ll write it. Also, your team is co-located so you’ll have to make sure those emails are clear as a bell.
Organized. The ability to organize high-level thoughts, be it wireframes, sketches or whatever is essential. If you have ideas, you must be able to explain them visually.
Interaction design. There is a conversation that happens between a user and the app. It’s your job to make sure that experience is clear and free of unwanted surprises.
Master craftsman. Straight up, you gotta have a strong understanding of front end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). You don’t have to write them, but you should be familiar with how they work.
Artist. You can craft a beautiful UI. We all love nice things. Make this app look like Charlize Theron.

Motion Graphic Designer

Concept, design, and produce compelling video graphics, animations and interactive experiences for use online, in-store, in-house and television broadcast.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Lead Garmin’s use of motion graphics for marketing initiatives
Work with the Interactive and Animation Team to concept marketing materials (mini-sites, DVDs & broadcast materials, applications, games, presentations and other interactive projects) that engage and educate customers about Garmin features and benefits
Create motion graphics and animations which clearly explain the features and benefits of new and emerging technologies and devices
Storyboard, design, and produce new product and executive presentations
Work with Communications, Marketing, and Engineering staff to plan, manage, and complete requested projects
Work with project managers to hit critical project due dates

Designer will be a part of the Sales support team and participate in presentations and project executions in coordination with Sales team. This employee will need to be agile in their work environment and have the ability to prioritize responsibilities.

This position requires knowledge of secondary packaging and displays with at least 3 years experience in display design activity. Experienced in POP/POS industry’s multiple substrates (corrugated, paperboard, thermoforming, etc).
