Full-Time Designer
Job Description
Involved in the development of design concepts for new and prospective customers combining innovation and cost savings efforts. Designer will be a part of the Sales support team and participate in presentations and project executions in coordination with Sales team. This employee will need to be agile in their work environment and have the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
This position requires knowledge of secondary packaging and displays with at least 3 years experience in display design activity. Experienced in POP/POS industry’s multiple substrates (corrugated, paperboard, thermoforming, etc). Design software proficiency is a requirement and the ability to demonstrate creative thinking skills. Exposure to both graphic as well as structural designs are also a plus.
Specific Skills
Display rendering/sketch ability
Take design briefs and provide workable solutions for client
Interact with Sales team to develop concepts to secure new business
Interact with Estimating team to provide guidance in delivering accurate estimates
Participate in presentations to customer
