Full-Time Graphic Designer
Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled, organized and detail-oriented graphic designer to work as part of our creative team at Midwest Studios. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of branding and corporate identity and the ability to generate highly-creative work independently or alongside other design team members. Opportunity to work on brand identity, packaging, advertising, event and exhibit graphics. Secondary responsibilities include supporting Model and 3D Rendering studios. Specific Skills
Minimum Qualifications
BFA or BA in Graphic Design or related fields
1-2 years of design experience
Strong working knowledge of: Abode Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign
Working knowledge of basic desktop applications such as MS Office and iWork
Strong typography and layout skills, attention to detail
Solid verbal and presentation skills
Works well under pressure in a busy, fast paced environment
Knowledge of production – pre-press, print, publishing, and packaging
Self-motivated with the ability to work and make decisions independently
Preferred Qualifications
Working experience in Adobe Production Suite (i.e. AfterEffects)
Cross-over experience in any of the following: AutoCAD, 3D Max, Maya
Training or experience in Interaction Design
Working experience in an Industrial Design related field
